Mick Schumacher, apparently a chip off the old block, began his racing career at the tender age of nine. He started racing karts and then moved on to Formula 4, and begins a Formula 3 season this year. But just like the rest of us, Schumacher needed to get a driver’s license.
Mercedes-Benz recognized the irony of the race driver having to prove his competence behind the wheel, so they created a series of videos depicting his driving lessons.
Schumacher has not publicly stated any plans beyond his Formula 3 season this year. We think it’s great that he is focused on his current plans, even though Formula 1 teams are already showing interest. Of course, we hope he’ll join the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport junior team!
Whatever Schumacher does in the future, we’re sure it will be great. Just remember to obey posted speed limits, Mick!
