At the heart of the new 2020 Mercedes-Benz AMG® GLE is a powerful I6 engine with a turbo charger and an electric auxiliary compressor. The engine itself produces an impressive 429 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque, but the new EQ Boost system takes things even further with an added boost of 21 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The result? A more fuel-efficient and environmentally-friendly drive train that takes you up to 60 mph in a cool 5.2 seconds.
